Why Pray for the Peace of Jerusalem?

While most of us live generally peaceful lives, news reports bring into our personal space the tensions and troubles at home and abroad.

Tragedy in Cumbria; conflict in the Middle East

Just over a week ago my wife and I were part of a group touring around the north and central parts of the beleaguered land of Israel. Amazingly, we felt safe in both Israeli and Palestinian areas, in spite of the fact that Israel is surrounded by nations that would be glad to see it removed from the map. Still you could feel the tension of a nation continually on guard against terrorist attacks or possible invasion.

After returning home, Sonja and I expected to settle back into relatively calm Britain. Barely a week ago, however, the tranquillity of Cumbria and the Lake District was shattered by mass murder.

Known for its beauty and as home to several past authors and poets, Cumbria has also become an area of tragedy. This time Derrick Bird, a quiet taxi driver, "snapped." His day of rage left families and villagers mourning as he fatally shot 12 people and 12 more were seriously wounded. Mr. Bird also killed himself. It was a reminder that no place in this world is safe or immune to the violence plaguing human nature.

At the same time news from the Middle East told of another conflict brewing in this international flash point.

Terrifying experiences and expectations

Israeli security forces are on the alert to prevent additional weapons and jihadists from reaching its enemies. Israelis point out that this vigilance has subdued the spate of bombings that claimed the lives of both Palestinians and Jews a few years ago. Having been close to a small bomb blast in the 1970s in Johannesburg, South Africa, I know it is a terrifying experience.

Yet in many countries, not only Israel, people live their lives with violence and indiscriminate destruction all around them. It is not only a suicide bomber or an I.E.D. (improvised explosive device) that is a danger.

Missiles are also a constant threat in border regions.

While we were visiting Israel, local news reported the delivery of longer-ranged Scud missiles to Lebanon. So while diplomats talk, the next round of the Middle East conflict is ready to erupt. Residents of cities like Haifa and Tel Aviv live with the expectation of sirens that will trigger a rush to the bomb shelters.

Londoners who survived World War II would remember the V2 rockets overhead; when the engine stopped, the bomb was on its way down. Today, there is little time to warn residents of incoming missiles. It must be emotionally draining to live with that constant expectation.

There is no doubt the Israelis would be willing to strike at the nuclear facilities of Iran before nuclear bombs travel skyward toward their own cities and installations. Even if the rest of the world dithers as to how to handle the situation, Israel knows that without a preemptive strike, it would have only a few minutes to react to a nuclear attack.

Shalom? When will it come?

The common greeting in Israel is "shalom" or "peace," but the reality for inhabitants is that war is an ever-present threat.

As we see prophecy marching on towards the return of the Messiah (whom Jews believe is coming for the first time), it is good to know that God's eyes are continually on that land (Zechariah 2:8)—focused on the eventual return of the house of Israel to join with the house of Judah under the resurrected King David (Jeremiah 30:9; Hosea 3:5).

We stood in the excavated City of David in what was probably the foundations and broken walls of the palace of King David. It is a couple hundred yards from the steps leading up to the Temple Mount, where his son Solomon built the first temple. The Holy of Holies and the Ark of the Covenant were probably in the area presently enclosed by the Dome of the Rock.

Jesus Christ, a descendant of David, traveled the countryside, villages and towns we visited. When He returns to the Mount of Olives (Acts 1:11), Jesus will come to restore peace.

We are encouraged to pray for the peace of Jerusalem, which will come when the resurrected saints are there with the returned Messiah, working together to bring peace that will spread to the whole world!

"Jerusalem, what a strong and beautiful city you are! Every tribe of the Lord obeys him and comes to you to praise his name. David's royal throne is here where justice rules. Jerusalem, we pray that you will have peace, and that all will go well for those who love you" (Psalm 122:3-6, Contemporary English Version).

Words can be a powerful thing.  With so many similar words to choose from – especially in the English language – I am often amazed at how the use of a particular word or phrase in just the right situation can stop a reader right in his or her tracks.  Perhaps this has happened to you.  You read a certain line and are so struck by it that you have to pause and consider what it means for you.

I had a similar experience just last month.  As I was reading an article in Newsweek, the writer’s concluding paragraph leapt off the page at me.  The phrase was very meaningful.  It was something that I had been hearing again and again throughout the years, but was now hearing from a different source.  Something that I had been told would happen, something that I had been watching for, was now put right in front of my eyes and it could not go unnoticed!

The End of the Euro, written by Niall Ferguson, concludes as follows:

Europe now faces a much bigger decision than whether to bail out Greece. The real choice is between becoming a fully fledged United States of Europe, or remaining little more than a modern-day Holy Roman Empire, a gimcrack hodgepodge of “variable geometry” that will sooner or later fall apart.

If you have been following Tomorrow’s World for any length of time, you are probably quite familiar with some of the phrases used in this paragraph.  Our free booklet, The Beast of Revelation: Myth, Metaphor or Soon-Coming Reality?, on page 24 asks the question, “Is this European Union setting the stage for the future – a seventh and final attempt at resurrecting the grandeur and might of imperial Rome?”

What about this “gimcrack hodgepodge”?  The Merriam-Webster Dictionary defines gimcrack as “a showy object of little use or value,” while a hodgepodge is a mixture of different parts; a jumble.  Essentially, one of the possibilities for Europe’s future is a showy but unsubstantial mixture of nations.  This sounds very similar to the book of Daniel, where it is revealed that a future world superpower will be “partly of potter’s clay and partly of iron, the kingdom shall be divided” (Daniel 2:41).

Will this modern day Holy Roman Empire fall apart as Niall Ferguson suggests?  Again, I would like to reference our free booklet,   The Beast of Revelation: Myth, Metaphor or Soon-Coming Reality?, page 26:

Yet beyond the bad news there is good news – really the best news possible.  In the days of this final union of European rulers, “the God of heaven will set up a kingdom which shall never be destroyed … it shall stand forever” (Daniel 2:44).

What the article misses is the fact that Europe is not at a cross-roads of two possible futures.  The Bible shows that Europe will again rise up with great strength, but only for a little while.

Events are unfolding before our very eyes that were prophesied long ago in the pages of the Holy Bible.  I strongly encourage you to study the analysis of current events provided online at www.tomorrowsworld.org and the “News & Prophecy” section on www.lcg.org.

Then, as you watch world news, keep an eye out for events you have been told ahead of time would happen and know that the truth about what is to come for the entire world can only come from God Almighty as He alone is able to declare “the end from the beginning, and from ancient times things that are not yet done” (Isaiah 46:10).

To view Karl-Theodor zu Guttenberg at work in parliament, on the hustings, being interviewed by the press, or just enjoying himself socializing is to see a consummate politician in action.

Bright, articulate in both his native German and in English, witty and sharp, Guttenberg is a politician for the moment given Germany’s present political turmoil. Even as politicians around him see their careers in tatters, or, in other instances, their popularity on the wane, Guttenberg seems to thrive on the controversy swirling in the current melee of German politics and to come up shining through crisis upon crisis.

Through all of the tumultuous eight months’ lifetime of Chancellor Angela Merkel’s currently very shaky coalition government, Guttenberg has managed to stick with his own chosen agenda and, in the face of all opposition, come up trumps.

Determined to raise the profile of Germany’s security and defense portfolio, and to bring the matter of German defense into the public arena as an acceptable point of public discourse for the first time since World War II, Guttenberg has more than succeeded at achieving this goal.

He used the Kunduz bombing affair to clean house in his own department, at the same time currying favor with the troops, in particular those serving in Afghanistan. He is now doing something similar with the controversial issue of military conscription, first arguing for a shorter duration of service of conscripts, then even appearing to argue for its abolition.

Guttenberg has a clear strategy in mind in all this—the raising of the caliber and technical expertise of Germany’s professional soldiers and giving them a clear mandate to engage the enemy in foreign theaters of particular interest to German elites intent on expanding the German imperialist vision.

In a recent interview with Spiegel magazine, Guttenberg did not mince words as to the goals that he has in mind for Germany’s defense forces.

Asked how the German Armed Forces, the Bundeswehr, will look in 10 years, Guttenberg responded:

Different. … In 10 years we will have caught up on the backlog of necessary reforms. The army will be smaller and trained for the challenges of asymmetrical threats. It cannot be, with 252,000 soldiers, that we have already reached the limits of our abilities when only 8,000 soldiers are deployed at the same time. In 10 years we will be more professional, faster and more flexible. We will have the potential to deploy our soldiers around the world and still not neglect our own defense.


Spiegel: In 10 years, what portion of the military’s activities will consist of national defense?

Guttenberg: Less. The necessity of defending our borders has already shrunk to a minimum. The Bundeswehr’s structures, though, still reflect to an extent the spirit of the Cold War. There have been attempts to change this, calling the process “transformation,” but so far this has brought too little progress. I’ve created a structural commission for this reason. That seems to me the more fitting word—we need to change structures as well.

Guttenberg’s goal as articulated by him to Spiegel is for Germany to field a “highly professional, exceptionally equipped and flexible operational army.”

In his own masterful way, Guttenberg is using Europe’s sovereign debt crisis as a catalyst to ramrod through his vision for a high-tech, professional German defense force par excellence. In this context he declared to Spiegel, “It is very clear that the structures of the Bundeswehr need to be changed. The implementation of these changes is simply being sped up by the current need to cut costs.”

What is of real concern as Germany’s current defense minister beavers away at developing the most outstanding national defense force in Europe is another report from that excellent source of German intelligence, German-Foreign-Policy.com.

We have often pointed to those shady elites in Germany who wield political, economic, financial and religious power behind the offices of elected government. These are the true power brokers in Germany. They are the aristocratic, practicing Roman Catholic personalities who pull the strings behind German industry, politics, banking, commerce and the military officer cadre. Their heritage is that of the historic Holy Roman Empire of the German Nation.

German-Foreign-Policy.com notes there have been recent reports that among such there have been certain “Foreign policy specialists from Berlin’s establishment … discussing possible advantages of dictatorial forms of government. According to the current issue of a leading German foreign-policy review, some observers see the West as being currently in a ‘state of democratic fatigue with an erosion of democratic institutions.’ Simultaneously there are ‘diverse discussions of dictatorial powers and measures’ even if usually in terms of a temporary dictatorship” (June 15).

German-Foreign-Policy.com refers in particular to an item which appears in the current edition of Internationale Politik, considered the most prestigious periodical in questions of foreign policy in the Federal Republic of Germany. It is published by the German Council on Foreign Relations. Specific reference is made to an article in the most recent edition of that periodical by Herfried Münkler, a political science professor in Berlin and one of Berlin’s most prominent political advisers, serving on the advisory board of the Federal College for Security Studies in Berlin.

Münkler poses what he terms the key question in German politics today: “‘Is there a reservoir of legitimacy lying beyond the legal order that can be tapped and claimed to rejuvenate the elderly order?’ Münkler’s question plays on terminology that had once been used by the key Nazi jurist, Carl Schmitt, to justify the suspension of the democratic constitution. During the last years of the Weimar Republic, Schmitt [proposed] that to protect the legitimacy, a dictatorship may be necessary; [thus] he helped pave the way for the Nazis to come to power” (ibid.).

In other words, one of Germany’s foremost geopolitical thinkers is musing on whether—with democratic government in complete disarray as it is in Berlin—the time is ripe for a temporary dictatorship!

These twin trends—Guttenberg’s ramrodding through changes in Germany’s defense structure so as to enable a “highly professional, exceptionally equipped and flexible operational army” and Münkler’s postulating that the time may be ripening for a “flirt with dictatorships”—are highly dangerous signs of changes happening to the political order in Germany. Changes of a nature that should send chills up the spine of any realist who comprehends the German national character, German history and especially Bible prophecies for the nation of Germany for the very times we are living in today.

Have you heard?

Recently I told someone that my doctor said I was definitely in "decline" (I have AIDS).

He said, "Can I preach the gospel to your unconverted family and friends at your funeral?" I said, "No" (for many reasons). I also said I wasn't going to have any funeral and plan on being cremated. I commented my family and friends already heard the gospel. I said, "Everybody in America has heard the gospel," and he said he wasn't so sure about that. His doubts notwithstanding, anybody who knows me knows how outspoken I am about my beliefs and how I've written extensively about them in many articles and within my book, Beyond Babylon: Europe's Rise and Fall.

Beyond Babylon fulfills the need to proclaim the gospel and warn the world; it includes the truth about our Hebrew roots and responsibility (the Anglo-Saxon-Celtic peoples are an important part of the Lost Ten Tribes of Israel, the Tribe of Joseph specifically); about God's Sabbath and "Jewish" (biblical) Holy Days versus Satan's counterfeit Sunday and whitewashed pagan holidays like Christmas and Easter that God hates; about Israel's demise and Europe's rise - these are foundational truths.

Visit many cities, any college town especially, and you will most likely find several different buildings used for worship—a Muslim mosque, a Jewish synagogue, and numerous Christian churches. Of course these religions are vastly different. The most obvious way they differ is the actual day of the week their buildings are used for worship. The Muslims worship on Friday, the Jews on Saturday and most Christians on Sunday. But still, the majority of Sunday church-goers really haven’t proved why they worship on Sunday.

Ask any member of the Christian faith why he or she attends worship services on Sunday, and you’ll receive a variety of answers. The Bible says to go to Church on Sunday, one might respond. But you, being the astute Bible student, point out that there are a significant number of passages in this Book that command observance on the seventh day of the week. Now, watch the responses. Some will reason that the seventh day of the week is Sunday—assuming that it has been that way since the Bible was canonized. But probably a more convincing argument and, by far, the most popular is:the Sabbath was only for the Old Testament.

Point out any contradiction to their theology with the Ten Commandments, and they will quickly retort that that was under the Old Covenant. The general rule they follow is, if it’s in the Old Testament, it’s out of the equation. They reason that because they are Christian, and follow Christ, and He came about in the NEW Testament, that makes anything before His birth irrelevant to the Christian faith.

Is the seventh-day Sabbath just for the Old Testament? Does the Sabbath stand a chance if we only use the latter half of our Bible? Let’s tie one hand behind our backs and prove the Sabbath using only the New Testament!

We’ll do this by dividing the New Testament into three parts: the time of Christ—seeing whether or not He kept the Sabbath, the time after Christ—just in case some argue that certain things were nailed to the cross, or that a possible Sunday resurrection might have changed things, and the time we live in right now—seeing if we are still required to keep it “in the ’90s.”

A sincere Christian usually looks heavily toward Christ as the example in everything, hence the common Bible-belt phrase:What would Jesus do? That is a good question. But a better might be, What DID Jesus do? Did Christ keep the Sabbath? If so, that should certainly prick someone’s conscience.

“And they went into Capernaum; and straightway on the sabbath day he entered into the synagogue, and taught” (Mark 1:21). So one has to admit, Christ kept the Sabbath. But was this just a one-time event? He did come to preach the gospel, and maybe this was His only chance to preach it to the Jews in Capernaum.

Notice:”And he came to Nazareth, where he had been brought up: and, as his custom was, he went into the synagogue on the sabbath day, and stood up for to read” (Luke 4:16). Here is Jesus Christ of Nazareth back where He grew up, where He was trained, where He learned about the Sabbath as a child. This is where the custom developed.

It’s easily provable that Christ kept the Sabbath and, in fact, that it was His custom to do so. But notice, even further clinching it, Mark 2:28:”Therefore the Son of man is Lord also of the sabbath.” Christians believe that Christ existed, as spirit, before His physical birth. Therefore, He was part of the creation of the Sabbath. In fact, since God created all things through Him (Ephesians 3:9), Jesus Christ actually created the Sabbath!

What about the time after Christ? He came, kept the Sabbath, was crucified and resurrected. Did Christ do away with the Sabbath? Was it “nailed to the cross”? Many believe He was resurrected on a Sunday, and that is precedent enough for the church to change its day of worship. How do we answer these arguments? We must go to our second division of the New Testament. Did the Church after Christ keep the Sabbath?

The most prominent figure in the New Testament, simply due to the quantity he wrote, is Paul. Surely, within his 14 epistles plus the book of Acts—written by Luke, but mostly about Paul—we can find something about which day he worshiped.

First, there are many who believe we should observe Sunday because of references to the first day of the week in this part of the New Testament. Let’s consider the “first day of the week” argument.

There are eight New Testament passages that contain the phrase “first day of the week,” the word day not even being in the original Greek any of those times. Acts 20:7 is probably the verse most refer to: “And upon the first day of the week, when the disciples came together to break bread, Paul preached unto them, ready to depart on the morrow; and continued his speech until midnight.” Yes, Paul preached, and the disciples broke bread—meaning they ate a meal on the first day of the week. And remember, in the Bible, the day begins at sunset (Leviticus 23:32). Here the disciples are eating a meal at night, since there were “many lights in the upper chamber” (verse 8), and Paul spoke “until midnight” (verse 7). If this was the first day of the week, it had to have been Saturday night, for if it were Sunday night, it would already be the second day to Luke, the writer of these verses. Concluding his stay in Troas (verse 6), Paul was departing “on the morrow,” or on the next morning. He was merely meeting with the disciples to have one last meal and speak to them one last time before leaving the next day.

The other seven passages that refer to the first day of the week, if they even allude to God’s people coming together at all, do not give any evidence whatsoever of Sunday being a day of worship. The late Herbert W. Armstrong, a minister of God and founder of Ambassador College, was challenged about the Sabbath early in his life. In his book Which Day Is the Christian Sabbath?, he examines each instance the New Testament refers to “first day of the week,” and proves that no worship services were held on this day. Refer to this book for deeper study into these passages.

In fact, others realize that these eight passages give no precedent for a day change—the Catholic Church among them: “You may read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation, and you will not find a single line authorizing the sanctification of Sunday. The Scriptures enforce the religious observance of Saturday, a day we never sanctify” (Cardinal Gibbons, Faith of Our Fathers).

Now let’s prove which day Paul actually kept. “Now when they had passed through Amphipolis and Apollonia, they came to Thessalonica, where was a synagogue of the Jews: And Paul, as his manner was, went in unto them, and three sabbath days reasoned with them out of the scriptures” (Acts 17:1-2).

Here Paul is keeping the Sabbath. And he kept it with the Jews, meaning that this was the seventh day of the week, as the Jews have always observed. Understand, this wasn’t a one-time deal. He did it “three sabbath days.” And he didn’t do it simply because he was in town for three weeks, and it was convenient. Luke wrote, “as his manner was.” The word for “manner” is the same Greek word Luke used when he wrote “custom” in Luke 4:16. So just as it was Christ’s custom to keep the Sabbath day,it was Paul’s—years after Christ had been resurrected!

There is also an account in Acts 13 where Paul preaches to both the Jews and Gentiles in the synagogue—on the Sabbath, which proves that it wasn’t just for the Jews. In fact, the Jews were offended by Paul’s message, and “the Gentiles besought that these words might be preached to them the next sabbath” (verse 42). If Paul kept Sunday as well, why didn’t he just tell the believing Gentiles to come the next day (Sunday) where he’d preach at the Christian Church? The fact is, Paul was a Christian who, like the rest of the New Testament Church, observed the Sabbath. “And the next sabbath day came almost the whole city together to hear the word of God” (verse 44).

Yes, this is all very convincing, one might argue. But it’s the ’90s! Could God and the resurrected Jesus Christ expect us to observe the Sabbath in this fast-paced, hustle-bustle society? The way to answer this is by looking at prophecy to see if people in the future will be keeping this day.

Matthew 24 is referred to by most Bible scholars as the “Olivet prophecy,” where Christ privately discussed with His disciples the time just prior to His return. Notice, concerning the end time, Christ says to these very elect, “But pray ye that your flight be not in the winter, neither on the sabbath day. For then shall be great tribulation, such as was not since the beginning of the world to this time, no, nor ever shall be” (verses 20-21). God is offering His very elect protection from this Great Tribulation. And he tells them to be concerned about two things when they travel: the winter and the Sabbath.

Now, if the skeptics can see that winter is still in existence in the end time, why do they believe the Sabbath wouldn’t be? Even if some doubt that we actually live in the “end time,” they cannot dispute that these verses refer to the time right before Christ returns. So, even if that time is far off, we know that the Sabbath will continue to be in effect until that point! And those who escape will be concerned as to how they keep it.

We have seen that Christ kept the Sabbath while on earth. The New Testament Church after Him did as well. We have also seen that the Sabbath is to be in effect up until the return of Jesus Christ.

The Sabbath is not only for the Old Testament, but is still in living effect today! Those who once closed their minds to the Old Testament can now go back to this half of the Bible and see why and how to observe the Sabbath. They can go back to Genesis and see how God put His presence in this day, thus making it holy (Genesis 2:1-3). They can see that the depth and meaning of this weekly observance goes far beyond merely entering a building.

The Sabbath means resting from the labor of the week and remembering the Creator. But, more importantly, it typifies a time of rest from this hectic world, of which Satan is now deceiver and god (Revelation 12:9; 2 Corinthians 4:4). The 6,000 years Satan has had man in his grasp are a type of the six-day work week, since 1000 years is as one day to God (2 Peter 3:8). When Christ returns to stop mankind from erasing himself from the face of the planet (Matthew 24:21-22), He will rule this earth for 1000 years (Revelation 20:4-6)—the seventh day of God’s 7,000-year plan. It will truly be a rest from the great deceiver, who at that time will be restrained in a bottomless pit (verses 1-3). And it will be a time when the Sabbath will be kept (Isaiah 66:23)—a time when its true meaning couldn’t be any more evident!

On top of the ample proof we have seen from the New Testament alone, there is enough vision attached with it to clinch the argument that we must observe this day. It was one of the Ten Commandments delivered thousands of years ago at Mt. Sinai (Exodus 20:8-11) and commanded to be kept forever (Exodus 31:13). Our very salvation depends on this commandment! •

He asked that the Moslem world show patience. Obama promised that once he overcame some domestic American problems (Healthcare), that he would show the Moslem world what he would do with Israel."

This is according to Israel Today here. Here is the passage from the May 2010 issue of "Israel Today." It is on page 3 in an article titled "Obama, a 'Strategic Catastrophe,'" by Aviel Schneider:

"The feeling among the Israeli public is that Obama is appeasing the Muslim world at the expense of Israel. “The American President told me in confidence that he is a Muslim,” said Egyptian Foreign Minister Ahmed Aboul Gheit on Nile TV."

When you're out and about, notice all the signs inviting you to SUNday services, offering you a welcome this SUNday, but none saying "SUNday is for pagans - we've repented and now keep the Sabbath" or "Never on a Sunday! Jesus kept the Sabbath and so do we!"

Either the ministers of those professing Christian churches are ignorant of the Scriptures and history (that only sanction the seventh day Sabbath) or they're just plain dishonest with themselves and their poor flock (that have been robbed of the plain truth).

There's no excuse for Sunday! Jesus, his disciples - the apostles - and the entire early Church of God composed of converted Jews, Israelites and Gentiles kept the seventh day Sabbath! The original faith once delivered to Jerusalem (that included the observance of the seventh day Sabbath) became corrupted by Gentilizers, Romanizers, false converts who misled folks to keep Sunday, cleverly keeping both the Sabbath and Sunday at first until they gained enough power and influence to oppose the biblical Sabbath for their traditional Sunday.

Question your minister if he's a Sunday keeper and ask your friends why folks are keeping Sunday - the first day of the week - when the Sabbath is the seventh day. Most have never thought about it, sheeple to the slaughter, but now God is bringing it to the attention of many and expects us to repent of keeping Sunday and start keeping the Sabbath that is holy to Him.

I wasn't only deported once from the Jewish homeland, but was told by Israeli lawyer Naftali Warzberger that since my passport didn't have deported stamped in it I could return and when I tried they detained me at the airport and sent me back!

It's sad how dishonest many are in government (Israeli or American) and refuse to right wrongs when it's in their power to do so. I recognize once wrong precedence has been set, it's easier to just go with it and sacrifice innocent folks like me.

I was unjustly deported in 1996 from Israel and attempted to return on the eve of the elections that same year (Shimon Peres v Netanyahu). They questioned me in the airport (and I was tired after that 12 hour flight - I had taken a 5 hour bus ride from Toledo to Chicago and then flew to Canada to save money) and then kept me in the cell at the airport. The guard let me give us my Maxwell house individual bags... On the flight back I saw the same undercover Israeli agent on the flight there who disagreed with me about Meir Kahane. I think most folks would hate Israel but I know it's just individual idiots and as a staunch Christian-Zionist I have a God-given love for Jerusalem, Jews and Israel, especially having lived there so many times on so many kibbutzim (eight to be exact!). I just want the option of being able to return without hassle, if and when I chose to, b'ezrat HaShem.

Call for Obama's resignation cites 'deceit, fraud, dishonesty'

A retired U.S. military leader who now is a presence on the Internet with his Stand Up For America and Veterans Defenders websites has issued a call for President Obama's resignation and a new election to replace him.

The call comes from Maj. Gen. Paul E. Vallely, who served in Vietnam and retired in 1991 from the U.S. Army as deputy commanding general for the Pacific.

"We now must call for the immediate resignation of Barry Soetero (AKA President Barack Hussein Obama) … based on incompetence, deceit, fraud, corruption, dishonesty and violation of the U.S. oath of office and the Constitution," he said in remarks delivered to a Lincoln Reagan dinner in Virginia City, Mont., last week and published today on the Stand Up America website.

The Plain Truth magazine announced in 1966, "Just as the Catholic Church once interposed her order on nations and peoples, she again is proposing to establish a 'Christian order' which alone is able to guarantee peace. To this goal the resources of the Church now are directed.' So said the late Pope Pius in a Christmas broadcast on December 24, 1951" (Plain Truth, July 1966)....

The Plain Truth also encouraged its readers to "Look for the Vatican to exert more influence in European affairs. Yugoslavia and the Vatican have resumed full diplomatic relations--a move that could lead to further ties between the Vatican and Eastern Europe.... The pope, encouraging European political unity, stated, 'We note with pleasure that the German government contributes actively to the achievement of this aim.' Vatican influence over European affairs is destined to grow in the months ahead" (Plain Truth, Aug./Sept. 1970)...

Is a world dictator about to appear? Yes! Now, in our time, we'll see just how influential this German pope is in implementing Germany and the Jesuit's Grand Design. The German pope will promote a leader for the theo-cons and they'll fall for it.

Germany will win WWIII -- and their EU jackboot will be permitted to stomp on the American, British and Jewish peoples primarily. But their days are numbered as Providence has given them 3 1/2 years, and God will judge them if they engage in overkill and show us no mercy. God will let Europe conquer us, but that doesn't mean God approves of them turning into a bloodthirsty beast.

O Israelites! Who could beat Great Britain in battle, or whip the U.S. in war, when God shed His grace on thee? Europe could never knock us down and kick us around -- until now! Because God's refining our gold in the furnace of affliction, and purifying our silver through great tribulation (Isa. 48:10).

Europe is not without sin: God's going to deal with them shortly (Deut. 32:27-43). Europe's simply the last vestige of Babylon, the scarlet daughter of the pagan Gentile system, destined to crash at Christ's coming (Dan. 2:34). They're simply building up God's case against them: European leaders will be brought to trial and found guilty! God's going to close down their occult operations, and burn their whorehouse to the ground! Strangely, it'll be the Europeans themselves who torch the place (Rev. 17:16), yet they don't return to God but continue to follow their Nimrod and actually fight against the real Jesus (when He returns from Heaven in full view of all mankind).

Europe's going to be burning mad, and their citizens express fiery indignation, when they realize the full extent of Rome's manipulation! For awhile, it'll seem that it served their selfish interests to support the Catholic Church. Both big business and the political community will endorse this new global enterprise (Rev. 18:9-11).

Europe's Roman Catholic roots will have appeared to be a stabilizing force, giving different nations some common ground. But the "Catholic services" haven't come cheap: they'll escort select politicians to power, delivering them the people's vote, in exchange for strict enforcement of Church policy. Within the framework of the "Holy Roman Empire," they've laid the groundwork for Europe's immediate future!

The Vatican is working out a deal with 10 European kings, with seductive offers of restoring them to political life upon their now dormant thrones, in return for the favor of acknowledging the supremacy of the pope and his chosen political partner. The ratification of this imminent Church-State union will be swept through by the malignant miracles the pope will perform in the presence of Europe's new emperor! The pope will mislead the people to presume his miracles are proof that Providence has chosen such an individual to rule Europe and save the world (Rev. 13:14).

Europe's body politic awaits this infusion of soul to truly come alive. What crisis will occur to coerce Europe to hastily accept the pope's proposal to recreate the continent in his image? A hungry Russian bear? An interrupted oil supply or Iranian nuclear threat? Nevertheless, Germany stands ready to defend the Catholic faith and Western "Christian" Civilization against destruction, but in doing so will actually ignite World War III!

The German-led European Union will bring mankind to the brink of utter destruction, demanding DIVINE INTERVENTION to save everybody on Earth from extinction (Matt. 24:22). The good news is that the legitimate King of Kings and Lord of Lords from Heaven will return and do just that! And the wannabe divine emperor will be history, so help us God.

When Israel first discovered this subversive operation was headed their way, they should have warned that every combatant on board (that's what they amount to) would be treated like the sworn enemies they are and the flotilla would be sunk and their own blood upon their heads.
