A growing debate among gun owners is whether or not the gun allegedly used to assassinate Israeli Prime Minister Yitzhak Rabin could have shot blanks.

All have viewed the Kempler video of Yitzhak Rabin murder in Tel Aviv and have come to different conclusions.

If you know anything about guns, feel free to weigh in on this gun debate.

Here are two views:

Cut it OUT, Already! We have PROVEN that your claims are impossible.

1. It was impossible that Amir fired blanks, since blanks will not operate his pistol.

2. Ballistic tests proved that the bullets extracted from Prime Minister Rabin came from Amir's gun and no other.

3. Ballistic tests also proved that the cartridge cases found on the scene were fired from Amir's gun and no other.

These are more than sufficient to disprove your preposterous claims that someone OTHER than Amir shot Rabin.

Depending on what type of blank is used, an automatic pistol may or may not work after the FIRST shot.

Basically, the pistol's carriage goes back to allow another cartridge to enter the firing chamber using a small amount of the power generated by the firing of the powder of the previous bullet.

The carriage and that includes the firing chamber as well as the rifled tube, barrel, which the bullet travels through on its way out, are easily moved by hand on pistols that require that for the first shot. "Cocking". Other pistols are motivated by the trigger mechanism.

I have owned or fired several guns and tried at one time or another blanks and in some cases the pistol locked and in other cases the pistol worked normally. DEPENDING FOR THE MOST ON THE AMOUNT of powder used to load the cartridge and type of powder. The amount of energy delivered to both the bullet and the carriage depends on those things.

Compare it to a piston on a car's engine. If you put LOW OCTANE gasoline the power generated by the igniting gasoline will be low, if in turn you put HIGH OCTANE gasoline that will increase and if you add nitro or sugar then that mixture will deliver a huge increase on power and of course cause to blow a piston as well... LOL

I observed the "flare" coming out of Amir's pistol at the time he fired upon Rabin. The welding torch like flare I saw was huge indicating either a very light bullet or no bullet in the shot. The flare escaped forward as if there was no bullet using the energy... Also shows that the type of powder use was not the most modern either.

BOTTOM LINE Unless that pistol is tried by experts, not with the government or involved on the case, using blank cartridges, there is almost certainty that the pistol could have fired blanks. Before the test firings the pistol MUST be disassembled and checked thoroughly to ascertain that no component has been tampered with. ALL components and dimensions must be checked against the gun manufacturer's drawing and specifications beforehand.

Since the Amir cartridges have been fired, there is no way to assure that the test will repeat the actual shots. Being hand loaded, anyone could have used different loads on those shots and the ones remaining. In fact the remaining cartridges are worthless for any action leading to ferreting the truth.

With all due respect to the fellow in the denial trail, there are many experts on firearms other than those suspects working with the SB's, that of course meaning the Shin Bet, not the other thing, :-).

BULLETS EXTRACTED FROM RABIN Ballistic tests are easily tampered with. A thousand and one ways. Again lets do some basic review on how its is done. A bullet traveling through a gun's barrel accepts a "signature" from the mechanical condition of the barrel, rifling marks, barrel distortions, etc. It then enters the target and is in most cases grossly deformed by the impact/s. It is not difficult at all to fire again that pistol against a dummy and generate samples comparably similar to those extracted from Rabin, or claimed to have been extracted from him. Going into basics. Another team of investigators must do the testing.

My LITMUS test is predicated upon the fact that the criminals in government here have been repeatedly involved on tampering with evidence, fabricating files, performing frame ups, ordering and effecting murders, participating on torture, conspiracies, etc.

Something or a lot is fishy on that murder. Besides the timing and use of it that followed.

Something's missing. Rome is synonymous with the Vatican, Mecca with the Kaaba, and Jerusalem's known for its Western Wall. But why should we stand before the wall, letting it obstruct our vision, when we could be praying in a Temple? Why should Jews continue to bow before an illegitimate Gentile decree that tells them where to pray? (Isaiah 10:1).

The Turks designated the Wall as an alternative "holy" site since Muslims had stolen the Temple Mount! If we rightly refused to accept Uganda as a Jewish "homeland," why should Jews settle for anything less than a Temple for worship?

That basically, is the gist of the message our demonstrations seek to send. The Temple Mount and Land of Israel Faithful Movement doesn't only protest the ongoing Muslim occupation of our Temple Mount, but proclaims that this unnatural set of circumstances will come to an end. We're confident that Muslim rule on the Temple Mount will soon be history, just as surely as the Berlin Wall fell and Eastern Europe came out from under the Russian heel!

The restoration of Jews from all over the world to their ancient homeland is only the first step towards the redemption of our land and lives. Israel, for the most part, is an empty, secular state. It's about as Jewish as America is Christian! The fact that the Temple Mount is still without a Temple stands as an indictment against Israel! God will hold Israel's political and religious leaders responsible!

Jerusalem's known as the heart of Israel, the crown of the "Jewish" State. The Temple Mount is the crown jewel. This historic Jewish treasure is a "diamond in the rough." It awaits our craftsmen's tender loving care to bring it to the brilliant perfection it deserves (Psalms 50:2).

We protest that this responsibility hasn't been fulfilled yet, but we proclaim that these things could change overnight. The world was caught off guard by the rapid succession of events that shook Europe and the former USSR. The "experts" were exposed as ignorant for not expecting it.

Nobody needs to be surprised when inevitable events rock Jerusalem, and they feel its aftershocks worldwide. They've been foretold. What's presently missing in Israel will be found when we're filled with our historic mission and accomplish our intended purpose: the restoration of the sacrifices and the construction of the Third Temple!

Shamefully, today's leaders reflect a ghetto-mentality and expose the sorry state of Israel and Jewish affairs! They're starved for this world's affection, afraid to be different, and too willing to sacrifice our unique identity! God condemns those kapos of compromise who would rather sell-out than take an unpopular stand!

Even though it's not politically correct, and goes against our democratic grain, and could result in a backlash - Hanukkah represents those who are willing, if and when necessary, to risk the wrath of others to insure the triumph of good over evil, of light over darkness, and right over wrong.

In this particular case, the light of what's good and right was the brilliant example of those faithful few Jews who held their head high (sick and tired of being beaten down) and publicly chose to reject alien ideas and destroy imposed idols.

The Maccabees weren't overly concerned with a suicidal fear of world opinion, but mightily expressed their faith in God. They didn't flirt with "foreign affairs," or engage in self-destructive interfaith orgies. They kept the faith and cleansed the Temple Mount of its spiritual filth.

World Jewry continues to celebrate Hanukkah to this day, but in the spirit of hypocrisy! We're more like the cowering Hellenists who assimilated, rather than the courageous Maccabees who fought to remain true to themselves!

Thank Heavens, there are a growing number in Israel who want to see Jerusalem restored as our spiritual center, and our lives rededicated to biblical ideals, not humanist ideas.

Pray for Jerusalem's peace and the rekindling of Israel's light!

Read and weep for the Israeli Jews of Gush Katif/Gaza, on whose behalf I wrote this article in July 2005 before their illegal expulsion by the bribed Ariel Sharon and criminal company working for foreign interests. Many of them remain homeless, depressed and basically abandoned by their lying government -- their former homes history, stripped bare and destroyed by marauding Arab enemies who are now fighting among themselves, one terrorist group (Hamas) against another terrorist group (Fatah).

The following photos and words are shared with us from Israeli Yuval Zaliouk (who is from Haifa but also has a home near Toledo, Ohio). See for yourself how the Israelis, by the grace of God, have made the desert blossom as a rose, and how Ariel Sharon and President Bush coldheartedly intend on uprooting such productive Israeli citizens and turning their labors of love, their blood, sweat and tears over to their sworn enemies! It's an outrage that must be stopped, so help us God.

Imagine -- God forbid -- Bush blathering we can no longer prevent illegal aliens from taking over the Southwest, so in order to have "peace" with Mexico, we must expel the law-abiding and productive Americans living there and surrender their homes and property and businesses to Mexicans before they start terrorizing the rest of the United States to create their new homeland called Atzlan. After all, we seized those territories with superior force and must now return them to right an alleged wrong. Don't be surprised if our government rewards illegal immigration and the madness goes that far, as part of the curse we're suffering for disobedience to our Great Creator God (Deut. 28:43, Dan. 9:11).

Now, adding insult to injury, is Condi the zombie Rice (blindly following Bush's Judenrein policies) calling for the Israeli army (whose purpose is to protect Israelis) to destroy the homes and businesses of the thriving Jewish community around Gaza and pay their sworn enemies, their "peace partners" who refuse to have any Jews in their neighborhood (Israel has lots less land, but where's the peace?), the Nazi-Muslims, to clean up the mess and gloat all the while about having driven the Jews out! Will the American government soon pay illegal immigrants to do the same in our southwest?

May God bless Bush and Rice to come to their spiritual senses, to read and heed the Bible that only recognizes the Promised Land of ISRAEL, and stop rewarding terrorism by pimping "Palestine" and calling for violence against the Jews of Gaza. - DBA

The biggest outrage of all is the flippant arrogance of all those in Israel who support the eviction and deportation of 8000 fellow citizens from Gush Katif, without ever having set foot in Gush Katif to see for themselves the haven that has been created there.

Sitting in Israel's center, such as Ramat Aviv, Tel Aviv, or in the comfort of other countries, they have the audacity, chutzpa, nay, malice, to determine the fate of the most dedicated modern-time vanguards Israel has produced in recent times.

I had the greatest privilege of visiting Gush Katif last month. I was honored to meet the diligent, tenacious, dedicated, ingenious and courageous people who live there. Every Israeli, every Jew, and all those who seek justice, Jewish or not, must be deeply proud and grateful for what these incredible people have created.

What you will see is the wonderful hospitable family of Nissim and Nurit in Ganei Tal where I stayed. Their children Stav and Nadav. Their unbelievable greenhouses in which they produce the best tomatoes ever, which they pack and ship to markets in Europe.

Pay attention to the paradise these people created in what used to be nothing but Saharan sand dunes. You will see the prosperous communities, the lawns, flowers and the trees miraculously grown by these industrious people.

You will also see the Memorial Day ceremony and exhibition in memory of those family members who were murdered by terrorist villains. Pay attention to the concrete blocks erected to protect the people from Arab snipers.

JERUSALEM -- An Israeli court has overturned a lower court's decision to acquit a Jewish dissident on charges of insulting a government official who played a major role in the expulsion of 16,000 Jews from the Gaza Strip and northern West Bank in 2005.

On July 19, the Jerusalem District Court ordered the re-trial of Jewish dissident Nadia Matar, who had been acquitted of insulting a public official. Matar, head of Women in Green, was the first Jewish nationalist prosecuted under a 1936 law of the British Mandate.

"It was once again proven that the judicial system in Israel pushes for the enemy of the Jewish people," Matar, a mother of six, said. "That means it has no problem to persecute anyone who shows loyalty to the Land of Israel."

The decision came one day after the Knesset Constitution and Law Committee approved a bill to cancel the indictments of non-violent demonstrators against the expulsion. The legislation must be voted by the full parliament.

In 2004, Matar wrote a scathing letter to Disengagement Authority director Jonathan Bassi, responsible for the eviction and resettlement of Jewish residents of the Gaza Strip and the northern West Bank to trailer parks in Israel. Matar said Bassi's role was similar to that of the Judenraat, the Nazi-appointed Jewish administration that helped liquidate the ghettos in Eastern Europe during World War II.

Matar contended that her letter was a legitimate act of protest. The defense cited numerous examples whereby authorities refused to prosecute left-wing activists who condemned officials and military commanders. Defense attorney Yoram Sheftel pointed to the daughter of Prime Minister Ehud Olmert who in a demonstration in 2006 called then-Chief of Staff Lt. Gen. Dan Halutz a "murderer."

"I have shown that the decision to prosecute individuals from one side of the political spectrum contrasts to the decision to prosecute individuals on the other side of the political spectrum," Sheftel said. "The prosecutor's office cannot decide what is legitimate for public debate and what is not."

On Sept. 10, 2006, Jerusalem Magistrates Court Judge David Mintz, himself branded a war criminal by a left-wing critic, dismissed the indictment against Matar. Two months later, the state appealed Matar's acquittal in Jerusalem's District Court.

In its ruling, the appeal court said Matar failed to prove that authorities had targeted her while ignoring violations by left-wing activists. The court ordered the case returned to the Jerusalem Magistrate's Court for another trial.

"If they think they can scare us, just the opposite," Matar said. "We will increase our activities for guarding the Land of Israel."

In August 1990, a German human rights organization known as the Society for the Protection of Threatened Peoples (SPTP) issued a scathing report accusing 85 German companies of supplying weapons of mass destruction technology to Iran, Iraq, Syria and Libya through third countries. The report also showed that these transactions were done with the knowledge of the German government. Following the Gulf War in 1991, the same SPTP provided documentation that the scud missile technology used by Iraq against Israel had been supplied by German companies.

Now, 16 years later, Germany has suddenly published an assessment that scores of German companies have indeed been helping Iran's nuclear program.

Fifty German companies are now being investigated by the German government on suspicion of selling dual-use systems and material required for Iran's nuclear project. Berlin has determined that the shipments were being used to complete Iran's nuclear energy plant at Bushehr.

"The equipment was ordered by Russia and diverted to Iran," a German official said.

On Thursday, German state prosecutor Christoph Lange identified one of the companies. Lange said the Berlin-based company Vero was suspected of shipping nuclear material to Moscow via Poland. From there, he said, the material was exported to Iran.

Vero was identified as a supplier to Bushehr since 2000. The company purchased nuclear technology from dozens of companies in Germany for Russian contractors of Bushehr.

These companies have argued that they had merely filled orders from Russian clients. However, Lange said at least a dozen of the German firms knew that Iran was the final destination.

From Golden Stalks to Golden Grains…And Back Again

I stood outside the Nitzan Caravilla site on a warm summer afternoon and watched the golden hay being baled. The heavy machinery grinded loudly and spat out large, square sweet-smelling bales. And as I stood silently and stared, I was once again a small five year old child with big brown eyes and short, curly brown hair – clutching my mother's hand tightly on a Shabbat afternoon in Chandler, Arizona. After the Shabbat morning meal, my family would always go on a walk to Desert Breeze Park. And on the way there, when the season was right, we would stop and watch the hay being baled. My father would watch with a grin and a sparkle in his green eyes – explaining the hay baling process to us, my mother would be cheerfully amused, and my siblings and I would stare with wide-eyed wonder.

But time passed, and with G-d's help my family made aliyah to Neve Dekalim, Israel. And agriculture was different there. Vast, rolling gray hothouses took the place of open fields. Bug-free vegetables and beautiful flowers took the place of stalks of hay. Golden sand dunes and small communities replaced the urban sprawl. And only the summer heat remained the same… And I wasn't sorry for the change – nor was my family. We grew and blossomed in lovely Gush Katif.

But more time passed. And every paradise has to have its snake. And Gush Katif was invaded by several nasty vipers. The second Intifada burst into being; road side shooting, road side bombs, attempted Arab infiltrations, mortars, kassam rockets, Jews injured, Jews killed… Budding Jewish lives were cruelly snipped. And we learned to live under the shadow of Arab terror. And we were hurting, and our wounds were raw and open and bleeding. But we persevered; we smiled bravely and dug our roots deeper into the sandy soil.

And then the second viper showed its fangs. The Arabs were plucking our flowers, when our Jewish government announced its desire to uproot us! And the smile froze on our faces and our hearts were heavy. We set-out to struggle. It was a long struggle, and it was a brave struggle. There were demonstrations, a human chain, a Likud referendum in our favor, orange streamers, prayer vigils, street blocking, face to face… But the government won. And the Jewish nation lost. We were quickly uprooted, our houses were swiftly destroyed, and the Arabs smiled maliciously and paraded victoriously among the ruins.

And then the people of Gush Katif were forced into two years of wandering. And they traveled to Jerusalem. And from Jerusalem they dispersed to a great many locations, for their numbers were vast and the government did not know where to place them. And from Jerusalem they wandered as far south as Be'er Sheva and as far north as the hills of the Galilee and the Golan. And eventually they settled in numerous, temporary Caravilla sites. And they were sad, and they were weary, and they cried unto the L-ord. And slowly, slowly they gathered strength. And they recalled the five years of hardship they had borne in Gush Katif. And they remembered their fallen. And they remembered the joyful faces of their foes. And they refused to be beaten. And if one listens, one can once again hear the determination in their voices and their visions for the future.

So, I stand and stare at the hay being baled outside the Nitzan Caravilla site. And it's a lovely day; the sun is shining, the sky is blue and the golden hay is being gathered. And, for a bit, I allow myself the luxury of taking a trip along memory lane. And my brown eyes smile, and my hair blows in the wind. And despite the pre-fab Caravillas, and despite the high unemployment, and despite the corrupt government and the national security problems…I laugh, enjoying a golden moment. It's been a very long journey from the hay fields of Arizona to the hay fields of Nitzan. And we've been temporarily banned from paradise. But this little girl has grown up – with strong roots in the past and a fervent hope for the future.

16 July 2007: The Northeast Intelligence Network was first to confirm during the June 30, 2007 edition of the Homeland Security Report that last month’s failed London car bomb plot had its tentacles reaching far into the United States. Now, NBC24, a television station in Toledo, Ohio is reporting that the FBI has questioned a Muslim doctor who recently moved to Toledo from the UK. Toledo also happens to be the corporate home of KindHearts for Charitable Humanitarian Development, an Islamic charity chaired by Hatem El-HADY, a Toledo physician, and a charity that has been the subject of an investigation for its reported ties to terror organizations.

The Toledo doctor was questioned by the FBI on July 4, 2007, less than a week after the failed bomb plot in London. According to information obtained through additional investigation conducted by the Northeast Intelligence Network, authorities are focused on a number of subjects in the U.S., including Muslim doctors, and others in the Toledo area who are also associated with a specific Toledo, Ohio mosque. When contacted by this agency, a spokesperson for the mosque declined to speak with this Northeast Intelligence Network investigator.

The July 4th visit to the unnamed Toledo doctor has prompted Toledo area Muslims to circulate an e-mail warning to Muslim doctors “to be ready for a knock at the door by the FBI,” and urged them to “have an attorney present” when answering questions asked by law enforcement officials. Following up on the investigation in Toledo, this Northeast Intelligence Network investigator spoke to a federal law enforcement official from Cleveland, Ohio who is familiar with the various overlapping investigations in Toledo.
